Smoky Hill Street Fair

I spent last Saturday caricaturing at the Smoky Hill Street Fair in Salina, KS. It was a beautiful Fall day! The fair was a great turnout with live musicians, crafts, games & activities. I got lost in the momentum of drawing faces, but I had a great time. My mom was a bit of an assistant--she brought me coffee and took pictures. What a nice woman she is.

I handed out a few cards with my contact information and this blog address- my sad attempt at a website.
Drawing people live with markers was a terrifying thought at first, but it ended up being pretty okay. Everyone was friendly and eager to have themselves cartooned for free.
Happy Autumnal Equinox!
